Olympic flame cheered at Tsawwassen First Nation
A cheering crowd welcomed the 2010 Olympic Winter Games torch to the Tsawwassen First Nation Tuesday (Feb. 9) afternoon.
Fourteen-year-old TFN member Nic Gurniak ran with the flame on the last 300 metre leg to the band's longhouse where he was welcomed by elders including Ruth Adams who offered a special blessing for the flame and all those taking part in the games which officially open Friday (Feb. 12).
