Staff and customers at Save-On-Foods in Ladner showed their community spirit over the last four months, raising $3,105 to purchase a new Holter monitor for the cardiology department at Delta Hospital.
A Holter monitor is a portable device for continuously monitoring various electrical activity of the cardiovascular system for at least 24 hours
Staff at the grocery store raised the money through raffles, barbecues and the popular "spin the wheel for points" game.
