TFN hosting open house
The Tsawwassen First Nation is hosting a public open house to present its draft neighbourhood plan.
On March 10, 6 to 8 p.m., local and area residents are invited to the TFN Recreation Centre to learn what's proposed for about 270 acres of TFN land designated "enterprise and community areas," an area south of the industrial lands and east of the mixed use and business park/specialty retail zone.
"Since last September, we’ve hosted meetings with our families, property owners and members who live out of town to get feedback and input on developing a neighbourhood plan within our community," said Chief Kim Baird.
"Now members will have the opportunity to review the draft report of the neighbourhood plan in the next few weeks at an open house. A revised report, reflecting those comments, will be presented to the TFN Legislature in mid-March, where we will consider a resolution for approval.”
