B & E suspect nabbed
A check by a Delta Police officer investigating a break and enter report last weekend paid off. The officer was responding to a call in the 4700 block of Cedar Tree Lane after a suspect gained entry to the residence by prying the sliding patio door.
Once inside the suspect stole a variety of items including, jewelry, liquor, a PlayStation video console and cash.
Using a description from the homeowner, the officer came across a 25-year-old male carrying two large bags at a bus stop in the area who turned out to be the suspect in the case. The man was taken into custody and held for a show cause hearing.
