Delta's Lewall honured for community achievement
South Delta’s Carlene Lewall has been included among those named to the BC Community Achievement Awards for 2011.
Lewall, Director of Marketing and Fundraising, is a longtime supporter of sports in the community and joins 36 others to receive the awards, which celebrate excellence in the arts, humanities, enterprise and community service.
“Each of these people has a remarkable record of enhancing the quality of life of residents throughout the province,” said Premier Christy Clark in a press release. “And each truly deserves to be singled out and recognized by all British Columbians for their contributions.”
Each recipient will be recognized in a formal presentation at Government House in Victoria on April 20 and will receive a certificate and a medallion designed by B.C. artist Robert Davidson.
