Windsor joins race for Delta school trustee
Former Delta Teachers' Association President Val Windsor announced late Friday afternoon she is in the race for the position of school trustee.
“School trustees have been silent about the real needs of Delta classrooms far too long,” said Windsor in a press release. “I have been an active participant in the education system from almost all sides of the teachers’ desk and I believe that the experience I have had from my various roles as parent, teacher, president of the local teachers’ association and councilor on the BC College of Teachers, will enhance the service I can provide to Delta as a school trustee.”
The municipal election on Nov. 19 also includes voting for Delta Council.
