Vehicle takes out palm tree in Tsawwassen
Northbound traffic on 56th Street was reduced to a crawl Tuesday afternoon after a grey Ford minivan collided with a palm tree in the traffic median.
Delta Fire and Emergency Services and Delta Police were on scene at the site of the accident, just north of View Crescent.
The stopped minivan was facing south in the northbound lane with a palm tree lying across the windshield and roof.
Delta Police said they will release more information about the accident soon.
