Update: Missing North Delta man found
North Delta's William McKinlay, 81 has been located.
Delta Police had been asking for the public's help in locating him after it was reported he went missing Feb. 26 at approximately 1:57 p.m.
He was found safe and unharmed in Burnaby Monday morning, according to Delta Police, who were called following a search Sunday by his family.
Concerns were raised over the extreme cold weather and McKinlay's condition—he suffers from Alzheimer’s.
Police said he was known to use public transit, but had no access to money, and would only have what money was on his person.
