The week in focus: Take a peek through the Leader's lens at Ladner and Tsawwassen
It was another busy and eventful week in Ladner and Tsawwassen, and the South Delta Leader's cameras caught plenty.
In this week's photo gallery, get a look at the students who supported their teachers', three-day strike that concluded on Wednesday (March 7).
The Leader's long-time freelance photographer Jim Kinnear captured the action on the ice at Ladner Arena Tuesday night as the Delta Ice Hawks staved off playoff elimination by beating the North Delta Devils 2-1.
On Wednesday unions supporting the teachers' strile hosted a barbecue at Dugald Morrison Park.
And on Thursday, the Grey Cup paid a visit to Beach Grove Elementary school along with wide receiver Marco Iannuzzi, and fullback Rolly Lambala who were members of the 2011 Grey Cup winning team.
