Ladner's Abramson awarded lifetime membership with Delta chamber
Longtime Delta Chamber of Commerce member Leslie Abramson was awarded with a lifetime honorary member designation at the organization's recent annual general meeting.
Abramson, a Ladner resident, is a past president of the chamber and was the first female President of the B.C. Chamber of Commerce
She has continued to contribute her enthusiasm and energy to the Delta Chamber, most recently on the Centennial Committee and on the Hats Off to Excellence committee.
In addition to her role with the chamber she is an active member of the Boys and Girls Club, treasurer of the Delta Police Foundation, and current president and a charter member of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen.
Abramson retired in 2007 after 36 years of running her Delta-based business.
