Police standoff continues in Ladner
The police standoff in Ladner is continuing as negotiators continued discussion with a distraught man who holed himself up in a shed beside his home in the 4600-block of 51st. Street.
Police were called to the site around noon on June 13.
The Municipal Emergency Response Team was then summoned after it was determined the man was possible armed.
ERT members monitored the shed for several hours and provided the man with a phone so negotiators could stay in contact.
