Two-car collision ties up traffic on Ladner Trunk Road
A driver involved in in a two-car accident along Ladner Trunk Rd. this morning (June 21) was evacuated by helicopter after sustaining serious injuries.
According to Delta Police, the vehicles collided in the 9300 block of Ladner Trunk Rd. at around 11 a.m.
The incident closed traffic in both directions on Ladner Trunk Rd.
DPD reports that back ups in the area are lengthy and traffic is being re-routed to Hwy. 99.
The injured driver was flown to Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.
