Ferry repairs forces sailing cancellations from Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay
Mechanical problems with the Spirit of British Columbia has forced BC Ferries to make some sailing cancellations from Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay on Tuesday (July 31).
The ferry experienced some propeller problems and will be replaced by the smaller Queen of New Westminster.
Work on the damaged propeller is expected to be completed in time for the Spirit of B.C. to return to service tomorrow.
Sailings being canceled are:
3 p.m. departing Tsawwassen
5 p.m. departing Swartz Bay
7 p.m. departing Tsawwassen
9 p.m. departing Swartz Bay
Additional sailings include:
8 p.m. departing Tsawwassen
10 p.m. departing Swartz Bay
