Polar Bear swim attracts hundreds to Boundary Bay
Centennial Beach was packed on the first day of 2013 as over 1,000 people turned up to watch 355 registered brave/crazy swimmers jump into the frigid Pacific Ocean for the 33rd Annual Polar Bear Swim.
The weather was 5 Celsius and the water just one degree warmer as hundreds crawled, walked, and outright ran into the waves.
