A Robbie Burns good time
Scots across the world celebrated their most famous poet's 254th birthday on Friday (Jan. 25) in proper Robbie Burns style.
The annual event includes traditions such as the piping and cutting of the Haggis, poems by Robbie Burns, a dinner, and overview of the Scottish author's work.
Perhaps most famous for writing Auld Lang Syne, as well as many well-loved poems such as My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose and To a Mouse, the popularity of Burns as been celebrated for hundreds of years.
Tsawwassen's The Waterford paid homage to the poet with haggis, poems, and dancers.
